Built a translation pipeline for three personal apps -- Proverbia (a Ugandan-language proverbs app), an SDA hymnal app, and a library of Ellen G. White books -- using Sunbird AI's Sunflower model to translate content into Ugandan local languages. After a quota-increase request, Sunbird AI emailed a temporary quota grant on 26 Aug 2026. The Sunflower model (open-weights, the same one the API serves) also runs locally when API limits are reached, so translation work keeps moving without waiting on a quota reset.

Volunteer Contributor of the Year 2024. Contributed Java modules and React components; made the community Billing module configurable via JSON/XML. Mentored new contributors, led the OpenMRS Academy revamp, wrote the onboarding guide.
Built a self-paced Implementer Training course (learner personas, training-needs analysis, learner testing). Wrote user guides for the Containerized OMRS Database Bundle and the Metadata Extraction Tool. Community outreach for the Common Reports Package.
